The hotel is beautiful, really. It's almost like a postcard. Except the postcard doesn't leave you outside in -2°C. We had put our things down, left for dinner serenely... and at 9:00, surprise: dead lock. There's no way home. Not an employee in sight, just an optimistic chatbot telling us that help would arrive “quickly”... from 9:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. Quickly, then, in another time zone. At 3 o’clock, we are “rescued” with another room. Unfortunately, it already seemed to be occupied... by inveterate smokers, disorder-seekers, and, obviously, someone who had not flushed. Charmant. Conclusion: we slept in our car, in the mountain resort, while our room remained closed until a locksmith was called... at 8:00 the next day. A tip: if you like extreme adventure, improvised winter camping and night conversations with a robot, this is the perfect address. Otherwise... run.

Warm welcome even as non hotel guests! Excellent attentive service. Best wine and food quality! More than recommended in contrast to the forest hotel in Arosa. Experience everything on the same day in Arosa! Too bad for Arosa to have to experience such differences.

Stayed as a couple for a long weekend. Great location - 2 minute walk to the ski lift or bus stop to Hornli outside. Virtually ski-in. Inner Arosa is the quieter area of Arosa but more picturesque. Very friendly staff at checkin who handled the collection of ski passes. Great breakfast selection - although speed of service could be improved: took an awfully long time to get coffee some mornings! Excellent spacious room with wonderful views across the valley. Spa and pool complex is fantastic - could nudge the jacuzzi temperature up a couple of notches I think. Overall we would highly recommend the hotel- but note, it’s not cheap - this is Switzerland after all. Closing in April 25 for a 3-4 year complete refurbishment: result should be very impressive. Highly recommend Arosa as a long weekend destination too - and a whole week if you are willing to travel over to Lenzerheim. Excellent snow throughout. I’m sure there is space for a couple more runs if they can get the necessary permissions.
