Davos Youthpalace

Feel the energy of the Youth Palace and get to know amazing guest which appreciate somewhat humble but very nice accommodation, whole share similar passion for mountains and to openly communicate with others, spend evenings playing board games, cards or just chatting with each other. Swimmingpool is around 15 minutes walk. Don’t miss the walk along the Hohe Promenade for a mind blowing landscape and mountains view.

Delicious food, including vegan option!! Very nice staff: kind, flexible, smiley, friendly and welcoming :) Very relaxed environment, great to relax or have fun with family or friends. Clean and nice space! Good environment and good music in the games room.

We spent a week skiing in Davos, just before Easter this year (quite late) and stayed at the YouthPalace / youth hostel. It is centrally located in Davos Dorf, up a side street with great views over the valley. It is close to the main Paresennbahn lift/train to the slopes and also numerous ski hire shops and the main ski school. The hostel is big, clean and the staff are friendly. The rooms are functional rather than luxurious but offer good value for money in what can be an expensive town. The food at breakfast is good and plentiful and the evening meals again offer very good value for money. One tip, if you are skiing, try to hire with a company near the lifts as the walk up the road after a long day on the slopes is much easier if you’ve left your ski kit drying in the shop! We’ll certainly be back.
