Chesa Grischuna Superior

Food sufficient, meat oversalted, ok. Venison saddle very good. Wait time for second serving 30Min!!!!!! After that 40 min for dessert. Staff polite but not professional, a real shame for such a beautiful and traditional establishment!!!

We first went to the Chesa Grischuna in the early 1980's. It's as wonderful now as it was then. The ownership has changed, the town has changed. but the charm, friendly service, and delicious food have not. Even though the weather was not the greatest, everything else was. What solidified our pleasure was the friendly attention Constatine, the general manager and the woman at the desk and their truly professional helpful suggestions. It felt like home. Dinner was exceptionally good too.

I didn’t stay in the hotel, but had a nightcap at the bar downstairs when in Davos for the World Economic Forum. I was referred to it due to their negroni and that apparently a bar that Churchill visited. Cosy. Excellent cocktails and great service. Recommend for nightcaps!
