Schloss Hotel & Spa Pontresina

Classic Italian hotel abroad… service not up to 4-star standards. Old, dilapidated hotel, kept very poorly, the carpet is disgusting. Abundant breakfast, at least that... embarrassing dining room staff... cutlery without napkins and fingers in the glasses etc... and I'll stop here... You don't need to be a professional to understand that they are improvising a bit or are there by chance... I found mold in the pancakes and the buffet dirty... the fruit salad at the buffet was black. All frozen stuff obviously. The food is nothing special, mediocre like the hotel. The only positive and nice note is the spa, but it's not enough for what it costs per night. Absolutely not to return to.

Without a doubt, the spa is spectacular; the pool with a view of the Alps is worth everything, in addition to the attention and the very complete breakfast, definitely 💯% recommendable, the receptionist and the guy who helped with the bags.

Structure that has everything you need to spend a great stay, improved on the previous year. The staff, mainly Italian, is very courteous and helpful. The food is good, excellent breakfast, pleasant dinner. The hotel is very scenic.
