Hotel Schweizerhof

The hotel has a good *** level. The rooms are nice, the service is friendly, the restaurnats serve good food, the SPA are is ok, the hotel is well located in the center. The price/quality ratio is good.

Overall, we had a very pleasant stay at this hotel, with friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately, our departure was less enjoyable. At around 7:15 a.m., I went to return my room key, as I had already paid the evening before and had been told this would be possible in the morning. However, the staff member at reception responded in an unfriendly manner and said I had to wait until 7:30 a.m. When I calmly tried to address this, he reacted irritably and did not allow me to finish speaking. It is unfortunate that such a small situation escalated and caused unnecessary stress, especially before a long journey home. Nevertheless, I would like to thank the rest of the staff for their hospitality.

We could not enjoy our stay there because of the middle east war ( all flights from there were cancelled as airspaces were closed). We paid for a stay that included breakfasts and dinners for 4 persons. Despite having contacted them before asking for a refund they denied it several time with a certain dose of arrogance in their answers. They didn't propose a date change or even refund for the meals that haven't cost them anything as we couldn't get them! Really bad customer engagement from them.
