La Margna Swiss Quality Hotel

Relatively new entrant on the St Moritz scene, it is a clear step below other St Moritz properties I have visited (The Kulm, The Palace and Suvretta House). Part of the problem lies in the awkward nature of the location. The ski room entrance is down by the rail station, while the front entrance is up on a much higher road. It causes general confusion with taxis, ski vans etc. while at Suvretta, etc the ski shuttle leaves from the front entrance because the ski room has a door adjacent to the front door. The indoor pool is I a dark basement and is very tiny, whereas the other three I mentioned have large, beautiful pools. There is no hair salon on site. The rooms were smaller than rooms at other St Moritz properties and without the same amount of cupboards for ski equipment. We found the clientele to be mainly Russian with Russian concierges who were not as helpful or warm as the Swiss Italian concierges at the big three. All in all, a disappointing experience. The best part of the hotel is its stylish bar so go have a drink but do yourself a favor and skip the stay.

Great experience the whole time. The location is great. Super convenient for trains and buses. We were warmly greeted and were happily surprised to receive a room upgrade. Our room was amazing. Great views. Everything is well thought out from the portable speaker to the super soft towels. The concierges (Anne and Phillip) are outstanding. They are super friendly and arranged great outings. We enjoyed the pool and spa facilities. The restaurant and bar teams do a great job. This was a tough hotel to leave. We look forward to staying here again.

Grace is a lovely hotel in the perfect location of St Moritz. We stayed in the new wing and the room was beautiful. The staff were very accommodating and very friendly. The restaurant, bar and spa are fantastic.
