An absolute disaster! USED ​​BEDDING FROM THE PREVIOUS GUEST was simply refolded and presented as "fresh"!!! We went into the room and immediately heard the neighbors through the THIN WALLS. I asked for another room - apparently everything was fully booked. Then back up in the room we noticed that the bed had a very wrinkled duvet - we then opened it up and saw that someone had already slept there! The cleaning lady did NOT change the duvet cover, she just folded it!!! ABSOLUTELY UNBELIEVABLE!!! Got a new room. Without any apology from the staff - as if something like this happens every day! Even in the new room the cleanliness was absolutely inadequate. Dead mosquitoes on the shower wall, dead flies in the bathroom cabinet, mold in the shower, dirty shelves and furniture, cables hanging out of lamps, ventilation grilles never cleaned, towels already completely worn out, huge cobwebs in front of the window... NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!

WORST EXPERIENCE. THIS PROPERTY IS ABSOLUTELY USELESS AND WORTHLESS. THE BREAKFAST WAS STINKING AND WAS BELOW POOR. THERE'S NO STAFF IN THE HOTEL AND MOST IMPORTANTLY NO FAN OR AIR CONDITIONER IN THE ROOM. IN JULY IT IS TOO HOT TO MANAGE WITHOUT ANYTHING IN THE ROOM. ALSO THERE IS NO CONNECTIVITY FROM THE HOTEL AS IT IT IS 21KM AWAY FROM LUCERN WHICH IS MISGUIDED BY THE AGODA AND THE HOTEL. AGODA SHOULD ALWAYS HAVE A THOROUGH CHECK BEFORE LISTING ANY PROPERTY AND VERY BAD EXPERIENCE WITH AGODA AND BOOKING. THEY FOOLED US AND WE ARE INFORMING EVERYONE AHEAD " PLEASE DONT GET FOLLED BY THIS PROPERTY". ONLY SINGLE WORD FOR THIS HOTEL THAT IS "WORST". STAY HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK

Great views, 30 min walk from Weggis, 3 mins from public swimming area, 3 mins from cafe/restaurant and boat jetty. Good balcony, room tired but reasonable size, same for bathroom. No sound insulation on door, has lift, no coat hangers in wardrobe, zero amenities in room or hotel. No bar, no vending machine, nothing. Breakfast was surprisingly decent, breakfast staff friendly, but no table cloths etc. Breakfast at time was chf20 pp, room (on offer) was chf138. Reception staff curt. Looks like the owners are running it down before a refurb or sale. Café Vienna is very close but closes at 5pm, restaurant Hertenstein is good and standard prices. Other restaurants @20 min walk. Overall for < chf190 including breakfast, parking and dog I was ok with it, but I’d rather pay a bit more and have a nicer experience.
