Ramada Regina Titlis Engelberg

We were at the Regina Titlis 20 years ago; after 20 years, we found a renovated reception and the restaurant dining room the same. The rooms have absolutely remained the same but with 20 years of wear and tear! Floors with dirty carpet ... full of stains. Wooden closets with holes and no keys; you have to stick your finger in the hole to open them. Unacceptable sofa bed, a mattress so thin that you could feel all the springs, and our children are light! The sheets on our bed had holes in 3 places. We arrived at 8:15 PM to check in; the very kind girl informed us that the restaurant closes at 10:00 PM but kitchen orders must be in by 9:00 PM. We arrived in the dining room at 8:45 PM; they didn't want to seat us because the kitchen had worked too much throughout the day and didn't want to take any more customers....!!!! Insanity! We are in high season, and it's a good thing they are busy, otherwise they would close!!! In the end, upon my insistence, they let us sit. They turned off the background music in the dining room and practically didn't assist us; everyone was very angry. In the end, we ate and left by 9:45 PM (1 hour). In the morning we woke up and went down for breakfast at 9:00 AM.. THE CHAOS! The waiter tells us "we're sorry but we're full" .....what???!! In the end, they find us a small table and we manage to have breakfast. At the reception during check-out, we weren't asked anything.... I think they are instructed not to say "did everything go well?" because otherwise it would be a disaster. I'm sorry but Never again, and we will advise all our acquaintances against it.

Fantastic Stay in a Perfect Location!Hotel H+ Regina in Engelberg is in a lovely, central location right in the middle of the village, making it incredibly easy to walk to all the surrounding shops and attractions. The view looking up at Mount Titlis from the property is absolutely stunning. The staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, and the hotel offers nice facilities to enjoy. We also loved the breakfast, which provided a great variety of good options to start the day. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Engelberg!

Good central location in pretty Engelberg. But the hotel itaelf is really ugly from the outside and the rooms were really dated and tired. Staff on reception were rude - well one of them was but a couple of them were nice. Had to call 3 times for housekeeping as they kept forgetting. No tea and coffee facilities in the room. Breakfast was good. Pool is tiny - the photos are misleading. And no cups of glasses for water in the spa. Not great service overall
