Very hot in the room given the weather, which made for an uncomfortable stay

Double room with bathroom: no TV, 2 outlets in the entire room so that if you turn on the bedside lamp, you disable one and cannot charge your phone. No air conditioning (we were at 29 degrees in Lucerne), no refrigerator (we could not store any refrigerated food we brought and had to throw it away). Paid parking. Basic breakfast. But the worst part of this hotel is the management. 1-We are a couple with an adult child. I made the reservation 3 months ago through the hotel website and it indicated that there were no triple rooms, so I had to book a double and a single. When I check in, I verify that one of the rooms is triple, and the other is double. I go down to reception to say that we are 3 and the double room is unnecessary for us. Well, they tell me that it cannot be canceled and that if I cancel and keep the triple room, there is no refund. 2- Upon checking in, payment had to be made in advance. The amount they charged me did not match what was confirmed via email. When I complained, they told me that the tourist rates have increased. I requested the invoice and checked that I was charged for 2 double rooms (occupancy 4, and there are 3 of us). In the end, they refunded the excess charge. 3- They wanted to charge me for parking at a price higher than indicated in the email, with the excuse that the rates had been modified in April.

Very nice place. Very very clean, very nice and comfortable beds and blankets. The staff was friendly and helpful. Great location near central station and the old town. Breakfast was adequate, but I personally would appreciate more vegetables. The room was small but we didnt mind this.
