Waldstätterhof This hotel combines outstanding service with a spectacular setting, just as one can only experience in Switzerland. With its location on the shore of Lake Lucerne, the hotel has arguably secured the best spot in the entire town. In addition, from the hotel room, you have the best view over the lake and between the Swiss Alps. This way, you can start every morning here directly with a smile :) The breakfast is qualitatively solid and can also be enjoyed on the terrace right by the lakeshore. Not far away, the hotel also has its own pier to the lake, with lounge chairs and stand-up paddleboards for free rental. For well-being, there is a spa area here. Personally, I find it a bit modest, as this area is mainly equipped with lounge chairs. As for a pool, there is only a "mobile" hot tub here, which is not particularly comfortable in its design. For a quick relaxation, it is okay. In the immediate vicinity, there are many opportunities to spend the day here. The Brunnen boat landing is only a minute away. And in all directions, there are well-laid-out hiking trails. I was completely satisfied here and would love to visit the hotel again.

Seehotel Waldstaetterhof in Brunnen really exceeded our expectations in every way! Where shall I start? Hotel has truly a wonderful location but unlike many hotels that have a great location but fail on other fronts, this hotel and its staff are the opposite: They have a hotel in one of the most beautiful corners of this planet Earth, and they make it even better experience for their guests! The staff is helpful, smiles, and so professional - they really know their trade, from receptionists to servers, spa workers, to cleaning staff. At times you don´t need to ask - they predict what you want and need. Whatever the management does with staff here, it is working! Great team spirit! Breakfast is fantastic! Coffee/tea/fruit on the first floor throughout the day is a nice add-on. Rooms are clean. Lake-view rooms are worth it. We stayed over Easter and received a small bag of fine chocolates in front of our door on a Sunday morning. Whoever does floral arrangements at the hotel is an amazing artist. I don´t usually notice this, but it was to marvel at, in hallways, on tables, always in spirit with the season. And they even changed in our room small vase with fresh, beautiful flower after a while. Such small, wonderful acts, but they add up to make it a truly relaxing experience. Spa is clean, with a wonderful view and refreshments. We ate once in a hotel restaurant - sophisticated and fantastic food really. The hotel´s location is perfect for exploring the region - if visiting Luzern, or even Zurich, visiting mountain tops by steep railway, or hiking on many paths - it is up to you. We were a family of 5, with teenage boys, and they were enjoying this trip just as much as we did - they also appreciated the beauty and calm after an active day. Kudos to the hotel manaagement, all staff and a wonderful smiling attitude, attention to detail and great skills - you made our days together as a family totally worth it!

Structure of the late nineteenth century, with its generous spaces, in a beautiful location. I practice access and parking spaces. You can breathe the typical atmosphere of the time, in the name of the Swiss hotel tradition. Simple cooking, a little rough and at very fair prices. Beautiful spa on the top floor, with lovely views. Breakfast above average. Staff attentive and courteous. You can feel the great commitment to keep the structure efficient and relatively modern.
