Hotel Alexandra

Beautiful, immaculately clean hotel with friendly, helpful staff and lovely breakfast buffet. Fabulous location—close enough to Locarno center to be convenient, but far enough to cost less than the hotels right in the center of town. Also helped keep the noise down for us during the music fest! Be aware that the third floor rooms are traditional European style, with a toilet and shower shared among all rooms on that floor. Lower floors have en suite bathrooms. Truly a lovely stay.

Small nice hotel. Great location, 15 min walk to Locarno or just outside the house a bus stop. Super friendly staff. Rooms are very clean and we had a small cute balcony. Since it was not a season we had the hotel almost to ourselves. The breakfast buffet was small but everything you like. For us absolutely sufficient and good quality. I'm sure we'll be back.

A very cordial and warmly run hotel. Small but nice with staff who read your wishes from your lips. Really highly recommended! A 10-minute walk from the centre. There is a bus stop directly in front of the hotel. And not far from good shopping facilities (Denner and Migros).
