My daughter and her friend were thrilled.

Very nice, simple, and family-run hotel in a side street right by the lake. Very friendly and familiar welcome, nice, large room, everything very clean. Very quiet at night, with air conditioning, coffee machine, and everything you need. Breakfast buffet simple, but with everything you need, also here a very familiar atmosphere and staff. We have absolutely nothing to complain about and would come back anytime.

Spontaneously my wife and I went on a short trip to Ascona during the week and happened to come across the Golf Garni. It turned out to be a perfect choice: super central yet quiet location in the immediate vicinity of the Lungolago; spacious and comfortable rooms with Nespresso coffee machine and large French double beds, spacious bathroom. Hammerous breakfast buffet with Maggia bread, cereals, fruits, yoghurts, local köse and fruity treats. Rita and Guiseppe, the owner couple, are extremely nice, accommodating and wholeheartedly wonderful hosts. We will definitely come back. Marcello and Cornelia
