Hotel within walking distance of the train station. Near the center, the lake and opposite the Congress Palace. The hotel offers a public transport card (including funicular). You don't need to have the plug adapter; breakfast is hearty and also features local produce. The staff is attentive and friendly. Often there are activities in the rooms of the Hotel (eg vintage market). Next to the structure the Osteria dell'Indipendenza: for a cocktail or a glass of wine after a concert.

The hotel is very well located and the staff is very friendly. Also the breakfast buffet is good. However, there are negative points about the general condition of the hotel and the rooms. The rooms are spartan, small and the mattress of my room was sagged: in the middle there was a distinct dent that kept me awake all night. The room as well as the hallway smelled unpleasant of stale kitchen smells. In my room, the air conditioning was also not in operation, making the room filled with stale air. The hotel is also ring-shaped. You can hear other people showering, my colleague complaining about the noise of ventilation. Furthermore, no water, let alone coffee or tea was provided in the room. All in all it was an unpleasant experience and I got far too little sleep because of the mattress, the bad smells and the noise. Dear hotel owners: Please renovate the hotel extensively. The guests thank you.
