We had a great time. The staff was kind, helpful, and welcoming. Included in the price are car parking and two bus tickets to the center. The room was clean with a nice bed, air conditioning, and a nice balcony with a splendid view of the lake. We had dinner at the restaurant....very good and prices I believe are standard. We are in Switzerland. A special thanks to Carolina for the welcome we received

The house is located close to Lake Lugano, but it cannot be seen because of all the trees. :-) The guest is welcomed by friendly, multilingual staff. Everything in the hotel seems a bit dated and shows signs of wear. It was clean nonetheless. Breakfast typically Italian. Croissant and cappuccino, that's it. The biggest problem is parking. There are only a few parking spaces around the hotel; most are blocked by no-parking signs. In the end, I found one with the hotel's assistance. However, the hotel should please not advertise with "parking available" on booking.com & Co.

A lovely, small hotel with nice, clean rooms. We were only at the hotel for one night, but we can highly recommend it. Very friendly service, fine breakfast, and good coffee. The location is ideal, a 30-40 minute walk to the center of Lugano, or a direct bus connection to the center. The bus stop is right in front of the house. The only issue is the situation with parking, but with luck, one can snag a spot nearby and receive a parking permit for a longer period. We definitely recommend this hotel and would book it again for a visit to Lugano.
