Hotel Garni Muralto

Very clean guesthouse. The owner and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Great breakfast selection! We were thrilled❣️ And we would gladly come back 👌

I stayed one night at this hotel where I often go when I am in Locarno and I always found myself well. The room chosen was an Overview and actually the view was very nice towards the lake and the mountains. but at night something incredible happened to me; I went to bed around 11pm and felt like a hollow in the mattress to which I gave little importance; about half an hour later I found myself sunk into bed with most of the bed slats blown! I didn't have the chance to call anyone because (hotel's flaw) there is no staff for the night. At that point, to try to sleep, I had to put the mattress on the floor and try to sleep on it. The first thing I did the next morning was to go complain to the receptionist who apologized justifying that if no one warns that there is a problem, they can not know. I accept this justification for good and ask to check out. I expect if not a discount on the room at least I will not be charged 20 francs for parking cars in their garage! Instead nothing, as if letting me sleep on the floor was a normal thing that can happen. Again, it is not for the 20 francs, but at least the gesture I expected!! I will hardly return

Good and functional hotel in the middle price segment with excellent price line ratio. Friendly staff and clean room.
