Beau-Rivage

When booking the room “North View”, know that in fact the view is for a cemetery. If you choose the hotel, please view matterhorn. The hotel is well located, but it is quite simple. By no means is a 4-star hotel! Positive points: location; shuttle from Train station; reception boy's sympathy and staff at breakfast. Negatives: Very small room overlooking the cemetery (North view); very weak breakfast, with little choice.

First time at the Beau-Rivage and would highly recommend — excellent service from friendly staff, clean and charming rooms, easy-access ski-room and a desirable location right next to the "cheese bus" free bus stops going to either the Matterhorn gondola or the Sunnega funicular. Free shuttle service to/from the train station. In the heart of downtown Zermatt yet quiet and peaceful, with those incredible Matterhorn views!

Great hotel in a central location. At Beau-Rivage, hospitality is still lived. In addition to the spacious rooms and the rich breakfast, the kindness of the staff is particularly worth mentioning. The restaurant “Chez Max Julen” embedded in the hotel is also highly recommended.
