We stayed 2 days at this property and had a great time: the family room had just been renovated and was extremely quiet. Everything was very clean and the terrace of the restaurant was very appreciable, with a staff with little care and very attentive. The icing on the cake: after we realized that we had forgotten some personal belongings in the safe of the room, the management very kindly sent them to us by registered mail, and at no cost to us. We will be very happy to return to this property on our next visit to Zermatt, and can recommend it with your eyes closed! Jean-Marie & Barbara

The Derby Hotel is conveniently located right next to the train station, perfect for skiers. The hotel staff are very helpful and friendly and we were particularly grateful to Constantos, who patiently answered all our random questions about the slopes and the lifts, and gave lots of good advice.

This quaint Zermatt hotel was really a lovely place to stay. It was right in the middle of the village, not to far from the train station. Our room was really nice and well taken care of. Great breakfast as well, with a nice group of waiters. The hotel was pretty quiet even having a room on the street side. Since it was early October, it was kind of off season, so the village wasn't overcrowded. Enjoyed the stay.
