Hotel Airport Zurich

Absolutely not recommended – massive hygiene deficiencies and intolerable conditions We were in this official 4-star hotel for one night (two rooms) and are shocked by the extreme deficiencies. I would like to address the problems here objectively, but with all clarity, as this establishment has a massive problem with cleanliness. The stairwell itself is full of dirt as well as dead and living insects that obviously have not been vacuumed up there for months. Of the two elevators, only one is working, and even that one is in a shockingly poor condition. In the rooms, the negative impression continues: You will look for air conditioning in vain. Instead, there is only a fan that wonderfully distributes the existing dust into the room air. The worst part, and from my point of view hygienically absolutely unacceptable, is the situation in front of the breakfast room (which itself is also in a very poor condition). There is a rabbit enclosure there with two caged animals that urinate directly onto the laminate floor. The extreme odor drifts through the entire area. Under these circumstances, it was impossible for me to have breakfast. I cannot imagine, in my wildest dreams, that this is even permissible from an official health and safety perspective. The grievances were addressed, but the hotel apparently considers this miserable state to be completely normal. Conclusion: A terrible hotel that in no way justifies its 4-star status. I cannot recommend this accommodation under any circumstances!

The prices are low and almost all destinations are quickly accessible – ideal for getting to business meetings quickly without a car. The low prices were a pleasant surprise, as was the cleanliness and the breakfast (in contrast to other hotels that are not as conveniently located). I would recommend the hotel to anyone who is in a hurry – like me –, but the arrogance of the reception staff tarnishes the overall experience; one should simply not get involved in discussions with them.

Nice hotel, reachable by bus from the airport in 5 minutes. Various shopping options and restaurants right by the hotel. Gladly again
