I had booked Studio, The apartment has very spacious Kitchen and bathroom, the single bed was bit cramped. You can refer to photos. So if you need large Bed then this one is not for you. There is washing machine and dish washer. They have daily housekeeping (charged extra at the time of booking). If you wish to have breakfast you need to get out on street and go to another building where actual Hotel is situated. The location is very close to Messe and tram stop, There are couple of restaurants just downstairs. In short if you are looking for something with Kitchen and Ok with tiny Bed, then go for it.

We are a family came to Basel for work and holiday. We had two elderly (60+) grandparents, us and our two children (6 months and 3.5 yrs). The apartment was clean, spacious and had great facilities. Toddler especially loved the space and comfortable beds. Hotel staff were very friendly and helped us out, and the price was quite reasonable (all of Switzerland is expensive!) The location is very good, within a few min walk of tram station as well as the smaller train station (the main train station in Basel is a few tram stops away. All in all, would strongly recommend to anyone Travelling here with small children

The studio apartments if Hotel du Commerce is really quite a nice place to stay in Basel. Very suitable for a long stay. There is a team stop just in front of the building and the congress center is a 3-4 minute walk. I´ll highly recommend this to anyone travelling to Basel.
