Movenpick Hotel Zurich Airport

This hotel is really convenient for the airport and it is easy to get to the centre of Zürich. The free shuttle bus runs every 30 minutes from the hotelbus location at the front of the airport. On arrival we were offered a drink - we opted for the prosecco. The lobby area is very nice. Our room, number 429 was well furnished and we loved the little extras - stickers to cover any lights overnight, free chocolate and a lovely selection of teas. The bed has settings on both sides for comfort levels, which we were really impressed with. Reception arranged a taxi for us to get to the opera that evening, which turned up at exactly the right time. Wi-if is free with no need for a password. We opted for breakfast the next morning, which was exceptional. Plenty of hot food, including fresh omelettes repeated by the chef. Something for everyone. Checkout at 12 noon. Travel to the centre of Zürich, either by shuttle to the airport plus a 10 minute train journey by train, or use the tram from the front of the hotel which takes longer. I would Definitely use this hotel again next time I’m in Zürich

Airport shuttle service is completely chaotic, front desk staff are slow and rude, rooms are tired (but very spacious), breakfast is OK, retaurant is expensive with incredibly slow service and a very limited menu (basically, schnitzel or schnitzel). I find it hard to believe there could be worse hotels serving Zurich airport...

This hotel is good for one night stay. We arrived in Zurich airport and stayed for one night before traveling to Geneva. Big advantage is that it has an airport shuttle with the schedule. However, to find the shuttle stop in the airport is challenging. The hotel is showing age and overdue for renovation. Airline crews, tourist buses come and go all the time, which is typical for the airport hotel. The room was a good size, the bathroom has a shower over tub. It is not a modern 4-star hotel. The staff was helpful and friendly. The buffet breakfast was good, but the dining room was very crowded. The hotel restaurant serves ordinary German cuisine like schnitzel, goulash and it is overpriced.
