Sorell Hotel Rutli

Completely average room. Two large air conditioners that produce incredibly much sound no matter the intensity. 1 pillow to each we had. When we returned to the hotel room in the afternoon it smelled absolutely awful, we had to ventilate everything we could but the ventilation did not work. When we asked about the problem, the lady at the front desk said it was common that it smelled so bad, and that she could try to fix it. She didn't, and we had to find out for ourselves. The bathroom is almost transparent. The shower has very little pressure, felt like a water can. The heat in the shower is poor. Either you have to wear too cold or too hot, nothing in between. Nice area, short way to different things. very few charging options. Around 2 pieces. One by the bed and one on the other side of the room. Breakfast is all right. Little possibilities, but you can find something. Nice beds, and I've slept well.

Despite having booked over 3 months ago, we were given a lower category rooms which were tad smaller for us a family. The bathrooms and rooms stank of sewer like smell for which they gave us room freshener sprays. One of the room air cooling didn’t work at all and even the replacement ventilator fan couldn’t make it comfortable in the unusually hot summer nights. Buffet breakfast was the saving grace besides the central location.

We had a tiny room. The bed didn’t have a top sheet and blanket. Instead it was some kind of combined top sheet and blanket that laid on top of the bed. It was like sleeping under the top half of a sleeping bag with your feet sticking out. The bathroom was right next to the bed. It had a frosted sliding glass door that you could reach out and touch from the bed. The toilet was on the other side of the door, and let’s just say you could hear everything that was going on in there. Very gross and unpleasant. The hotel and room were clean but I definitely would not stay here again. And definitely not worth the money.
