As the name suggests, it is located next to a narrow waterway and is located between the railway station and Meili Island Station, both of which can be walked. As it looks, the accommodation itself is quite old and does not use card keys, but overall there is no major difficulty in using it, and the low price seems to be good for short-term guests. Of course, as the name suggests, the wide view of the river is also the highlight of this place, and as it is a transportation hub, it is not only easy to get to other places, but also many places to eat nearby. Even if there are some inconveniences, it is a place worth a short stay if you can bear it.

I brought a team of Healthcare staff to work in Sligo & stayed at the Riverside Hotel. From reception through to the restaurant the staff were fantastic. Special mention to Basil and the team at breakfast time, absolutely first class. I cant recommend this team more highly, if they can help they will!

We booked two rooms here, both of which had dirty sheets and duvets. The virtually non existent wifi topped it off as one of the worst hotels I've personally stayed in. One must consider the price however, and for NT1000 per night I suppose this is reasonable considering the location. But, a decent wifi service and clean sheets isn't too much to ask, even with a budget hotel isn't it ?
