The hotel is about 5 minutes walk to the Jongshan MRT, located in a small alley. The room is spacious, well-equipped and generally clean. Several power outlets are available, and Wi-Fi is encrypted. Plenty of F&B choices nearby. If you need to stay near this area for whatever reason and are on a tight budget, this hotel should meet your expectation.

If its not your first time in Taipei, and you are not adamant about taking the subway system then this quaint hotel tucked away is a great stay. I take the taxi everywhere I go and found this district to be central starting point IMHO. This is actually a Japanese district and you will see the influences via menus and signboards. The hotel is hygienic and provides a full suite of toiletries. The bed mattress and pillows are of good grade unlike other properties who will cut cost on such expenses. Japanese Silver travellers have a good standard to maintain and to have them use this property backs this claim. Arrangement for taxi to airport is flat rate of TWD 1100 which is the right price.

I stayed on the 3rd floor during the CNY period. It was very nice, the bed was nice, the bathroom was nice. Breakfast was nice, and there was a glass cabinet to put your clothes in so you were able to see if you left anything before you leave. However some of the edges of the room were not kept clean, the door and the walls had marks on them as well.
