Palmer Hotel

Play in Taiwan for four days, choose this hostel, The location is close to Taichung Railway Station. There are many restaurants and attractions near the hostel. The room is clean, But personal supplies need to carry themselves to the front desk. The room has no closet and can only rely on several hangers on the wall. Buffet breakfast ok, all fresh local ingredients.

1. Booked a room with breakfast but was told that no breakfast was included. 2. Several TV stations are very blurry and cannot be viewed. 3. The bed sheets were not changed at all after 12 noon. 4. If the bath towels are not changed, you have to go to the counter to get them in person. 5. The trash can is not emptied, so you have to get water from the counter. 6. The finger pointed at the bathroom door strip and it fell loose. 7. I am the gentleman who stayed in Room 903 for two days on 11/6 and 11/7. 8. If I could, I would give [minus 5 stars] There are cigarette butts by the window in non-smoking rooms I hope that tourists who stay in the future can carefully choose a good hotel. If you stay for two consecutive days and ask for bed sheets to be changed without changing the name, you will feel really bad.

Located in the old section of Taichung. Great location - 8 mins walk to the Taichung Train Station, 3 mins walk to Gancheng bus station (actually just a bus stop) and many long distance bus operators like Nantou Bus along the same main road. Very convenient to travel to Taichung's place of interests by bus from Gancheng stop and other cities/towns like Sun Moon Lake. We booked 6 pax rooms with 3 double beds. Room was very clean, spacious and quiet too (our room was facing the side buildings, not main road but not much view though).
