Tayih Landis

A very comfortable stay at the Tayih Landis hotel. Clean room, comfy bed and great fitness facility. Enjoyed the broad selection of breakfast buffet foods. The staff was helpful and friendly. Good location.

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights so we could see our nephew play in the U12 World Baseball Championships and were pleasantly surprised at the large and comfortable room via a good deal on Expedia. The staff were excellent in accommodating our requests such as organising taxis to be sent to the Shan-Hwa baseball field which is miles out of town to pick up stranded spectators. One disappointment was the Executive Lounge which we had been excited about having access to until we found just bottled water, a few soft drinks and tea on offer. We would recommend the Tayih Landis Tainan and plan to go back again to do the sightseeing we never got around to doing during this trip.

Hotel is oldish, but generally clean and good size. Location is great for walking to tourist sites. It’s also a stone throw away from Bao An road where there’s many local food stores. Many of them are definitely worth trying. The free shuttle bus from THSR stop right outside the hotel. Taxi fare to the THSR is not too expensive anyway - NTD450 and takes 30mins.
