Queena Plaza Hotel

I went as part of the fam tour group post-Asian MICE Forum and spent most of the day traipsing through Tainan from the ICC near the Mitsui Outlets Park to Orchid City to the Hayashi Department Store. That said, I was plumb tired when we finally arrived at the Queena Plaza - and that huge bathtub was a welcome sight for sore limbs! I love how comfortable the bed was and the fact that the hotel was located in a semi-residential zone helped because it was restfully quiet. Plus points for the bountiful breakfast buffet which offered, of all things, a DIY soda bar where I made my favourite elderflower syrup soda, hot soy milk and crunchy youtiao to dip into it, and the hotel's spin on a local favourite: beef soup. Pity I had only one night here, but it was a comfortable stay.

8th floor room stinks of damp /blocked drains. This floor has the laundry room not sure if that’s related . Mentioned it to staff who just nodded and said it would go away. It hasn’t. Nice grounds and buffet breakfast/ dinner but won’t stay here again

I booked a family room with agoda during the consecutive vacation. When I checked in, the size of the equipment in the room was consistent with the order (6th floor/family room 632). However, after the air conditioner was turned on for more than 2 hours, the temperature could not drop. After informing the hotel, the engineering staff adjusted the host. After about 40 minutes, it still only dropped one degree, and the corridor was cooler than the room. Subsequently, the hotel took the initiative to help us change rooms, but after entering the room (9th floor/916), we discovered that the room was much smaller (and inconsistent with the order photos and descriptions), the TV did not have YouTube, and there were fecal stains on the toilet (later Service staff will come to clean up). The front desk explained: The room size is not much different. (But the floor plan on the door is about 1/3 different), and changing from 6F to 9F means upgrading to a mid-to-high floor! This explanation and explanation is really hard to accept. In fact, it is understandable that the room is full and it is not easy to change rooms during consecutive holidays. However, if the guest needs to change rooms due to facility problems, and the new room is different from the booked one, you should inform them first. The guests are usually understanding, and this is not done after being discovered. Hard concave again. It’s really unsightly.
