Rido Hotel

Pros:1/ walking distance to the MRT Daan forest park station 2/ close to city center with lots of eateries 3/ Daan Forest Park is just at the opposite side of the road to the hotel 4/ The bed is comfortable Cons: 1/ There is no sitting area for the guest except a check in counter at the entrance 2/ It's a bit outdated and old fashioned hotel 3/ the bed sheet has holes on it and very thin.

Experience as comfortable as it is pleasant! The decor is a bit off 90s, establishment, very clean, impeccable, excellent welcome , bedding really very comfortable . However, some juices would still be nice , it is missing at breakfast and some pastries / yogurt would be welcome for some ... questions of habits and cultures 🤫 😉 🥰 Location, super central. Everything is simple access, metro 2 steps and sublime park to relax .. with in addition a very large bedroom and a huge bathroom with views ... Great spot!

The Rido hotel’s location cannot be beat. It’s across the street from the beautiful Da’an Forest Park, where you’ll find beautiful walking and jogging trails, basketball courts, playgrounds, gardens, groves of different trees, plenty of grass, picnic tables, and shade. The hotel is also across the street from the metro station, and a 3 min walk to Din Tai Fung! I found Da’an to be very charming and safe, with fun markets, shops, a variety of restaurants, good bars and clubs, and friendly people all around. A great location for the Rido Hotel. My room was facing the park, on the 7th floor. The noise from the street was not bad when the window was closed. I had a two-twin bed room, which was small but cozy, and had plenty of space for all my things. My only complaint was that the mattress was too firm for me. My hip bones were in pain for 7 nights as I flip-flopped from one painful side to the other. The bathroom was modern, and in addition to a shower, had a jacuzzi tub which I did enjoy. Every day the maid left a plate with fresh fruit and a cookie, green tea, black tea, and coffee. I only had the hotel breakfast twice, but it did have a variety of foods, mostly leaning toward the Asian style. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming, the hotel was clean and quiet, and although the bed was a tad too firm, I would definitely stay here again. I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Taipei.
