This hotel has some issues, and the only reason you should pick it is because a room should not cost you more than 60€ a night. Otherwise just go to a more mainstream hotel chain where your money and sleep will be more worth it. There are some good aspects: – Centrical. 5 minutes walking from Ximen MTR station. – Cleanliness was ok. Bad aspects: – As other reviews have commented, this hotel is a place for smells. Floor 4, where the reception is, has an immediate smell of dampness. My floor 8 did not have that smell, but just another strange smell of gas. These smells however were absent in my room. Fortunately no smells here. – In the showers there are no bottles of shampoo, gel and conditioner. Instead they leave two small sachets of each. Not neat. You can ask for more at reception. But it is a hassle. – The hotel is overall small and a bit tacky. The rooms are small (even for the so-called ‘Superior Double Room’). The decoration and choice of furniture is a bit bizarre and mismatching. My mattress was too firm. – There is a TV in the room. But there are no channels to watch. I guess it only can be used to connect a laptop to the HDMI port. – Hard to locate. The hotel entrance is in an alley, not at the address provided which points to a random shop in the main street. No signs at street level to clarify this.

The hotel prices are very high, the rooms look old, and the front desk staff have a poor attitude. There were no bath towels available, and when I asked them to clean the room, it seemed like they didn't hear me. After going out and coming back, the room still wasn't cleaned. It's a terrible hotel, and I advise everyone to avoid this place when visiting Taipei!

I really regretted booking this hotel. The sheets seemed like they hadn't been changed in a long time and had a foul smell. I don't know how long it's been since they changed the sheets. At night, there were cockroaches running around the room—it's terrifying! I've never stayed in a hotel with cockroaches before. There was also hair in the bathroom, and with such high prices, there's no breakfast included. It was a very bad experience!
