This long-established, nine-story hotel is located in Bangkok's Bang Prat district (in Soi 21, Ratchawithi Road, on the west bank of the Chao Phraya River). The old-fashioned exterior is reminiscent of the 1980s hardware, but the common space, including the reception lobby, and the guest rooms are characterized by elaborate and luxurious interiors unique to long-established stores. The employees’ language also made me feel elegant and the product of a cumulative spirit of service. Located on a prime location facing the Chao Phraya River, the guest rooms from the upper floors are great for their limited visibility and a bird's-eye view of the carriers passing by the Chao Phraya River and Krung Tong Bridge. Although the hotel is aging as old as it was, the varnished boarded flooring and the many textured wooden furnitures illuminated by the room lighting give a sense of the vestiges of a luxury hotel of old. In addition, the luxury dinner cruise ships are operated from barges located on the hotel's premises, and the service Ratings seem to be high.

We asked serval times nicely to help get access to the WiFi and The girls at the check in we’re all using Thai language to call us stupid. The login page was in Thai language. They didn’t know I understood them but just can’t speak. When I heard them calling me stupid, I responded in English with “excuse me?” and she rooms my phone and pushed it to me and said you can use now! I would definitely NEVER EVER come back here again!!! I hope management will get their staffs professionally educated to treat foreigners with better respect and courtesy before they loose all their customers! I believe I’m not the only one to experience the same situation.
