Bally Suite Silom

I have mixed feelings writing review for this hotel which I have been staying every time for the past 12 years since I visited Bangkok. The location I wouldn't say excellent because the DJ Station at night not only blast their loud music but so are the patrons screaming their lungs out. Well its not the fault of the club being next door but its the broken windows of this hotel which they didn't fixed and left some gap for the sound to reach your ears at midnight ! There was no hot shower in my room. I told the guy in the morning at the counter but obviously he didn't bother or understand. I came back in the afternoon and check again and its was true. Nothing was done. So I called the lady at the counter and she sent 2 guys up to my room. They couldn't fix it and they upgraded my room to the other end of the building. This time, the sound from the club can't be heard but the wifi signal is almost non-existence. So I had to tell the lady the next morning. She said will look into it. Actually I believe it has always been like that if they put you in that room furthest away from the wifi router which is at the counter downstairs ! If I'm downstairs, the wifi signal has no problem. In fact I recalled even before the locked down in 2019, the tap at the basin was actually already broken. Just that probably during the locked down they just didn't fix any problems in the rooms until now. It is really sad because I like this hotel that was why I have been staying here numerous times in my previous trips ( they can't check because they have changed management few times since I first visited there. If they continue not to refurbish this hotel, trust me, they will lose their loyal customers to other newly built hotels coming up nearby. That's also why I wonder they keep maintaining their lowest rates because they have already started to lose customers to other hotels. Its sad that I have to start looking for other hotels in my next visit.

Location is good near green (BTS) and blue (MRT) lines. English channels on TV. Breakfast ok. Not recommended. First I got the room 402 but it was impossible to sleep due to the night club next door, the room smells pee, the AC is noisy, the bed is not comfortable, only one small window facing the night club wall. Then they put me in 608 but there was no window in the room.

This is a nice and clean hotel IF you get a quiet room. However, our first night the room was right next to the clubs and it was REALLY loud, which don't quiet down until 3am. There is no possible way you'll sleep in a room that loud. I was able to switch rooms the second night (to one on the other side with no window) which was better but lack os sleep
