Seri 47 Residence

I stayed for one night only when I found out the trip to the Bangkok city center is way too far, you can actually ride the river boat at central world to the city but it was not a pleasant ride for me and going back to the hotel by taxi costs around 400 baht, place is clean there's Tesco store not far away but very quiet and dark at night maybe for business meeting or short stay but not for sightseeing.

This hotel is very simple, but it was clean and close to transport into the mall and to bus stops and a short walk to a Tesco. The bathroom is small and a bit squashy when trying to have a shower and the toilet is a typical thai toilet where you cannot flush toilet paper down the toilet. It has a small balcony and the room was clean and tidy. The staff speak no English but are very nice. The hotel has washing machines on the premises for 30 baht per load which is good as you don't have to walk to far to do your washing. The hotel is owned by Muslems so you are not allowed alcohol on the premises which was fine by us. Overall, I would recommend this hotel and stay again myself.

This is a very clean and neat hotel with all the amenities you would need. There were some other guests or residents who were a bit noisy during the evening the one night we stayed there but they were quiet before it got late. This hotel isn't too far from the airport, by taxi it cost about 150 baht one way. Also, if you cross over Seri Thai Road and take an orange 27 bus about 15 minutes to The Mall Bangkapi for shopping and a great swimming pool. Also behind the Mall is the canal where you can take a boat for 20 baht into the city. So although this isn't the fanciest hotel or in the most exciting area we felt it was a great priced hotel and not too far from important things.
