Excellent boutique hotel, you get in and the reception exprience is superb, you sit down having a tea while they do the check in for you. The hotel looks like a traditional thai village with teak houses, teak furniture sourrounded by water and vegatation, very peacefull.You feel like yor are in an oasis in the middle of that caotic city. The service excellent, the food all very natural and healthy. Very good if you are looking for that. The rooms excellent, really nice decorated and very stylish folling the traditional thai furniture. They leaft a lemograss mosquito spry in the room, it's the best mosquito spray i ever had, didnt get a single mosquito bite. The toiletries smelt delicious as well, but the best part was the SPA, the best massage i ever had was there, the herbal thai massge. I felt like i was floting when i left and had slpet for 24 hours, i was so relax. I would strongly recomend it, why would you want to go to a massive hotel when you are just a number, here you feel more special and very peacefull and tranquile. I will defenetely go back. I keep dreaming with that massage.

I also booked via wotif.com but had a very different experience to the other reviewer. 6 Star Service right from arrival! Seated check-in with a much appreciated cool drink of coconut infused water. The food is incredible, never have I had food that tasted like that and was also healthy and low fat. Unitl this experience I thought anything that tastes great had to be fattening! The staff are friendly and helpful and seemed well trained. They gave me plenty of advice on local markets, where to shop, how to use the skytrain and maps. They were happy to chat and at other times were very unobtrusive. I really loved my room. The room was peaceful, cool and full of character. No mossies in my room and the aircond, worked well and was quiet. Only two small windows that didn't open but I have lived in the tropics for 9 years and understand that tropical architecture tries to limit light and heat entering rooms. The general decor of the room was dark wood and antique furniture. I had a spa treatment area in my bathroom and the shower etc was as others have described. No soft chairs or cable TV or makeup mirrors but their absence wasn't an issue for me. I just lounged on my king bed or in the lounge and had an opportunity to read books - something I rarely have time for anymore. I had some spa treatments which were suburb but pricier than can be found readily in Bangkok. I did swim in the pool but never saw anyone else swimming. This stay was a 3 day stopover but now I am planning a holiday that centers on staying at this hotel. I felt truly revitalised after 3 days. I can't recommend this place highly enough!
