We stayed one night after we arrived. We arrived at the hotel at 9:00, checked in an hour later. The hotel is simple, but very cozy, homely. There's a little pool with cool water. Rooms are modest, but everything necessary for a comfortable overnight after the flight is present. Near the hotel there is a park, a very picturesque place to walk, shops, cafes, souvenir shops, fruit shops in walking distance. I recommend Orchid resort for a stopover after arrival or before flying home.

Have everything you need for one or two days when you arrive or are leaving Bankok via Suvarnaphumi. Absolutely no luxury hotel, but delivers great value for what it cost. Clean and fresh room with both fan and AC. Hot shower. The room is spacious and has a balcony. No big, but reasonably deep pool with access to massage and some sun beds. Set breakfast which was above expectations considering the price. Coffee/tea, two fried eggs, bacon and sausage, water and juice, toast and some greens. Free transportation to Suvarnaphumi every hour. Very nice and helpful staff. Walking distance to the large market which opens at 4 pm. Lovely food court, clothes, electronics etc. Recommend, if you have time, a cheap taxi ride to Paseo Market with a fantastic food court, where you get genuine Thai food at prices that were common 30 years ago taxi/Grab about 100 BHT. Then we can really recommend Hus Takhe old market. Take a Grab or Taxi, about 100 Bht. Genuine food market with atmosphere. Almost no Westerners and supply and prices thereafter. We bought some clothes, sat down and drank a cold Chang and changed the broken bracelet on my phone. We have stayed in many hotels near Suvarnaphumi, but here we come back. Recommend hot 🙏🤗
