Place Inn

Breakfast was included in the price, but we decided to pay for it somewhere else, as there were ants covering jam, butter etc... disgusting morning after awful night - see below: Our room 208 included following - plenty of mould on the walls and ceiling (in the room and also in bathroom) - see photos - shower loosing pressure after 2 minutes of using - two visits of cockroaches during evening/night (receptionist didn't look surprised at all, probably long term guests) - super uncomfy bed, where you can feel every single spring on your body - very bad wifi connection Hence room number 208 is to be avoided at any circumstances! On the first morning we shared our frustration with receptionist (owner, or who knows) which with smile and lack of interest about our issue refused to give us our money back for the rest of the stay (luckily just one more night) and didn't even offer any alternatives. We had to push a lot until he offered us another room (number 518), which wasn't great, but at least in much better shape than room 208. We wouldn't recommend PLACE INN to anyone! Just pay a bit more and stay for example in beautiful Rambuttri Village Plaza on the same street.

I stayed 5 nights there and booked a room with private restroom. The room (with windows) had air conditioner, fan, hot water and WIFI. The staff always invite you for a conversation. The hostel is very near to the Kho San Road and bus station.

Don't go here. It's cheap, but not cheap enough for this. Better sleep in the street. It's small. It's dirty. It's noisy. Couldn't turn off the AC, had a winterjacket and still was freezing. I didn't even have a sink in my "private" bathroom. And someone manage to open my door in middle of night.
