Baan Pra Nond Bed and Breakfast

This is one of my favorite Bangkok hotels, the hotel is a small colonial wonders with wooden windows and large shutters and the rooms are individually decorated. you get really cozy feeling. A small problem is that the hotel is a little squeezed between a large street at the front and the highway at the back so there can be traffic noise at times, but there is still nothing that disturbs in the rooms. Of course, some rooms are certainly better than others, but I think the nice little garden and pool at the back of the hotel is absolutely fantastic. And the hotel owners really do what they can to make your stay as good as possible, for example, if you come by car you can use their private parking at the back.

Stayed here for only one night, at the room nearest to the busy road. Surprisingly it is not as noisy as I thought (based on reviews from the previous travellers, and I am a light sleeper) and I can sleep through the night. Just that the mosquitoes were alot probably because the house is surrounded by trees and other plants. The house is lovely and make you feel calm, hospitality is great, breakfast is nice and unique.

We truly enjoyed our stay with Tasma and Jason. The room was quiet, comfortable with classy touches and double paned windows. The facilities were just charming. The breakfasts were simple yet sophisticated, wholesome, and very tasty. The service was exemplary with a caring, very helpful, and, unobtrusive staff. Most of all, the location; very close to BTS and the Sathorn Pier makes Baan Pra Nond quite a perfect, affordable choice. The stories of the history of this wonderful B&B, amidst the antiques and colonial charm, shared by the hosts, were just icing on the cake. We felt welcomed and cared for which is exactly what the hospitality industry needs in today's hurried, impersonal travel space. Thank you!
