Two-day stay (July 26 and 27) before returning by plane to Spain. The best thing about this hotel is the price, although at the expense of other things. The location is a bit far from the center in an area that is a bit "intimidating." You are safe, as I have generally felt in Thailand, but it is not a good area. The hotel needs a renovation. The lobby is decent. The hallways and rooms are those of a 3-star hotel, not a 4-star one. In mine, the AC was not working correctly, and even though we asked the staff to check it, it was not fixed. Conclusion: some nights I could not sleep well, and when you arrived at the room after being out all day, it was always disconnected. In fact, I would go down to the lobby to cool off, as you could not be in the room comfortably. The breakfast buffet is abundant, but the room where it is located has a rather cold atmosphere. Good value for money in this case. The pool is located on the rooftop with self-service towels at the entrance. The views are good (you are surrounded by buildings, some quite close), but the facilities need a renovation. The depth of the pool does not exceed 1.5 meters, and on the sides, a rusty structure is left exposed. There is a small pergola on one side, but there are no umbrellas around the pool, and the pergola is missing its corresponding shade cover. The ladder for accessing the pool is frankly uncomfortable. The Wi-Fi in the room, fourth floor, was terrible. If you go down to the lobby, it does work, but it did not work in the room. There is something I have not seen in any hotel out of the hundreds I have used in my life, in Spain and around the world: There is a list (laminated) in the room of the cost of possible damages that you could cause in the room (from breaking the TV, a chair, a lock, etc.). This made me feel like I was a criminal. But this is not the "best" part. When we checked out they asked us to wait 5 minutes because they were going to verify the condition of the room (I understand in case we had caused any damage). After a few minutes of waiting in the lobby, a very friendly employee indicated to us that everything was OK and that we could leave. UNHEARD OF. Anyway, a hotel that I will not return to and that surely would deserve a worse rating.

We actually stayed here only because we had a wedding to go to at the four seasons hotel, 10-15 minute drive away. Location is not great and the nearest mall Asiatique opens at 3pm and it’s pretty far, a 30 minutes walk away. Though they have shuttles we did not use them. The hotel itself seems like an old building that was recently renovated. The toilet did not have a handle on the door, only a bolt lock from the inside. The main door was very flimsy and I was afraid that it could be opened very easily. The pool was convenient to have and was a very relaxing addition, but not made very well. They also ran out of pool towels and told me to get a towel from my room to use when I asked for one. Then they told me they will bring pool towels up to the pool area but I stayed there for one hour and never got one.

This hotel is by no means in any way a 5 star hotel. The rooms are clean however. The rest of the hotel outside of the rooms are very outdated. We found the shower in the room did not drain very fast which led to some minor flooding of the bathroom temporarily. The pool on the roof was also poorly maintained and honestly a little bit gross. I definitely don’t think it’s at all value for money as it’s very overpriced for what it is and there are many more affordable nicer options in Bangkok
