This hotel is a good choice for backpackers or travelers planning an extended stay in Chiang Mai without spending a lot of money. It is well located, with shops and restaurants nearby, including a 7-Eleven. However, if you are traveling with children, I would not recommend it. While smoking is prohibited inside the hotel, some guests who smoke more than just tobacco are gathered in the designated areas. Personally I don't have a problem with that, but it's not ideal when you go with your kids and the smell of weed is constant. We also saw several guests consuming alcohol throughout the day, which creates an unfamiliar Mood. This need not be the direct responsibility of the hotel, but definitely influences the type of experience you live there. As for the cleanliness, on arrival I felt that the bedding was not completely clean. Fortunately, the staff was quick and changed it in a few minutes. The hotel is old and that is rating. Don’t expect big luxuries — for €13 a night, offer just enough. The pool was also quite dark, without lighting, and the chlorine level was excessive. If I was 25 years old and traveling with friends, I probably would have found it perfect for the location and the price. But for a family trip, it's not the best option.

The hotel seems abandoned, everything was very dirty: sheets, towels, pillows, bedside table sticky with liquid, etc. very outdated equipment. We did not stay, however, arriving very late (more than 1 a.m.) we left because it was impossible to sleep in such filth. The only positive point: full refund and free of charge for the three nights booked.

We spended three nights at this beautiful venue with a super friendly and professional receptionist who helped us to visit Chiang Mai. We will never forget this trip. I will really recommend to stay here if you are passing true by Chiang Mai.
