Noble House

I have stayed at this hotel many times. Sometimes I stay a month, sometimes a week, and I know I'll always come back. Situated just outside Chiangmai Gate the location is excellent. The square right by the gate hosts many food vendors every evening,,,so over a long stay you get to sample them all, and return to your favourites. The staff at the hotel are caring, kind, friendly and they feel like family by the time you leave. The rooms are large, the hallways spacious. The entire place is sparkling clean. I will recommend this place to all my friends. Don't forget, Chiangmai has a beautiful Flower Festival the first weekend in February. It's beautiful.

Good price, good location anw the service is unbelievable, the old lady super impolite, i just want to ask is there any camera in front of the gate. Just a question but she start to angry ( dont understand why) she said u can check by yourself, she use the finger to point the camera and said we have alot camera, you go and check, then she work other job, im so suprised, im wait for her and tell her that “ im know that ure tired today”, she stop me, im not tired bla bla... then she mumble by Thai, im so sock, its just a yes, no question... at the end she run away, leave me there ..... I paid the receptionist at Noble House in advance to go to Khum Khan Toke dinner and cultural show, which is by far the best one in Chiang Mai. Price for 2 people including transfers was 1200 baht. Upon arrival, we were instead taken to the Old Chiang Mai Cultural Center Khan Toke dinner and show, which is smaller, older and far inferior to Khum Khantoke. Had I wanted to go the show at Chiang Mai Cultural Center, I could have bought the tickets online for 250 baht per person (500 baht total, not including transfers.) The next day I talked with both the receptionist and boss at Noble House about the problem. At first, receptionist apologized but said money had already been transferred, so nothing she could do. She then totally ignored me and helped other customers. I then went downstairs to talk to her boss at the motorcycle shop next door (where I have purchased 2 new motorbikes previously). He agreed what happened was not right and called his receptionist who lied to him and told him I had wanted to go the Chiang Mai Cultural Center show. This was absolutely not true. I have previously gone to both shows, so I knew the Khum Khan Toke facility and show were far superior in quality, size, atmosphere and the dinner and dance show itself. After waiting about 15 minutes, the boss had the receptionist come down. I again stated I had explicity requested and paid for the better Khum Khantoke show. The boss then ultimately offered me 80 baht back, claiming that was the only (commission) money he and the receptionist received from the show facility. This cannot be true as I again told him I could have bought the tickets on line for 2 people for 250 baht per person not including transfers. The receptionist again acted very indignantly and stormed out. I told the boss to keep his measly 80 baht and reminded him I had previously purchased 2 motorbikes from him and when I had previously stated at his "hotel", I had always tipped the receptionist at check out and tipped maids every time my room was cleaned. Asked him if he was familiar with Trip Advisor and told him to look for my review. Told him his offer to refund 80 baht was an insult and my review regarding their deceptive and dishonest customer (dis)service would cause him to lose much more than 80 baht in future revenue, and that of course I would never purchase a motorbike from him again. He didn't say anything further as I left, again reminding him to check Trip Advisor for this review. P.S Negative reviews by others are definitely true. When I stayed there previously, I saw first-hand that many times when guests with reservations arrived to check in, many were told no rooms were available and they would take them to another Noble Group facility in a location near the airport and much farther away from the Old City of Chiang Mai. Noble House also lists room service as an amenity when in fact there is no such thing as Noble House does not even have a restaurant. After staying at Noble House for many months on prior trips, I wisely decided to stay at the nearby Smith Residence services apartments which though slightly higher priced, has far better amenities than Noble House (swimming pool, on-site parking, a restaurant that does have room service, in house laundry, much nicer recently refurbished rooms with flat screen TVs, larger fridges, microwaves, and 24 hour security.) When I stayed at Noble House, unruly customers would frequently create loud disturbances at all hours of day and night, and Noble House staff would do nothing to help. Take my advice and do not do business with Noble House.
