Rim Ping Garden

Rimping Hotel is a small and very friendly oasis where the lovely staff are only too happy to oblige to make the stay pleasant and hassle free. Quiet location and ideally situated - a short walk to the river and taxis, convenience stores, street food and local restaurants. A cocktail by the pool is a must after a long day of sightseeing! The rooms have everything you need and are well maintained.The beds and pillows are comfortable. I like the fact that the bar-fridge is only stocked with water - the 7Eleven around the corner can sell you cheap alcohol. Note - if you have children, there are not a lot of English TV channels (cartoons are dubbed) so bring a few DVDs if you really need to have the TV on. The restaurant is very good. Breakfast has both local and continental food and plenty of coffee and pastries. The dinner menu provides both traditional and western fare and is actually very, very nice and very reasonably priced as well! I would have no hesitation staying at Rimping Village Hotel again.

This hotel had everything. Location was amazing. The staff were so lovely and helpful. It was clean and although a little old had all the modern conveniences. Breakfast by the pool was simply amazing. Try the deserts.. Yummy. Free bike hire was a big plus and having a supermarket around the corner was brilliant.

The Rimping Hotel ticks all the boxes. It is situated perfectly a stone's throw from the river. Turn right out of the hotel and short walk across the iron bridge puts you in the main centre of town. Left turn out of the hotel for local restaurants and market. Free bicycles if you are adventurous. The hotel offers free pick ups and drop off if you book three nights or more. The staff show genuine friendliness and are eager to please. These are some of the best people running a hotel that we have encountered. Rooms are meticulously maintained and spacious. The pool is an excellent wind down venue and breakfast is adequate. There is a well stocked super market close to the hotel although there are time restrictions when you can buy beer etc. Laundry close by if you need it. Worth checking out the pie place just around the corner.
