Villa de Chiangmai

Clean and tidy but have to mark them down because they lied about the cost of the laundry service. I was told 70baht and pay at the end of my stay. When I went to check out, I had been charged 545 baht. Still not a lot of money but I don’t like been lied to.

This was a really good place to stay my room was big and the AC was nice. The staff were nice and the pool was good. It is close to all attractions and airport. Would recommend and I would come back. The staff helped me get some clothes laundered and was really cheap. They can also help with transport to the airport.

This hotel is very nicely set out and the rooms were lovely and beds comfortable. Has a nice small pool, however doesn’t really get the sun so we didn’t use and were out most the time. Only few issues we had was there seemed to be some works going on so one morning we were woke up by loud constant drilling! Also seems a bit silly they give you free water and then water in mini fridge so I accidentally drank the mini bar one and then was charged, I think if you are giving free water just keep it all free. The hotel is opposite a temple and is really good location for main parts of Chiang Mai being within walking distance. The staff were friendly and helpful most of the time however when we had a long wait around for our flight untill evening and had checked out in the morning we were made to feel very uncomfortable for staying within the hotel even though we had been told we could leave our bags. I think maybe as we were a group of 4 travellers they didn’t like it!
