Food is good but the temperature is not hot— there’s a burner for the food but i don’t understand why they don’t keep it ON to keep the food hot esp the soup. It’s a shame because the food here is actually potentially good. We stayed in room 208 for 3 days arranged by our tour company. The biggest disappointment we have is the shower—- the water temperature gets unbelievably cold or unbelievably hot! There is no in-between and trust me we tried — for 3 days —to get a decent shower. Tried to talk to management but i’m not sure they understand. We also asked for a breakfast box for one of our early tour day — they said it will be ready when we leave at 4 am. Comes 4 am, there was Nobody in the reception or restaurant and we cannot wait for anyone to show up past 4 am because we are on a schedule. We talked to the Reception Staff again about this, but again, no acknowledgement and frankly, i’m not sure how much they understand English. They smile pleasantly but that does not help when they can’t effectively be a part of the communication process. So… while this place has a boutique-feel with a nice set-up and the housekeepers really keep up with cleaning and daily bedsheet change— i would not recommend this hotel At Pingnakorn Nim Man.

An original boutique experience with some flaws. My girlfriend and I booked this place as recommended by my dad and I first I was a bit bummed on how old it looked. But on the inside it was quite nice, with a spacious interior and nice balcony with kitchen. The food at breakfast was also quite good, with my girlfriend mentioning the authentic food options. Some downsides included the shower, which the water pressure was low and the temperature was not consistent. Also, water leaked all over the place, which wasn't too bad but I felt bad for the housekeeping. Also, some staff around the hotel were nice but at check in, a nice reception lady was very polite but didn't tell us about the travel together program, minibar options or how to contact her, bed type before going to our room. However, after those complaints overall it was a good stay and hope to see a renovation some day in the future!

the hotel is from the outside boring, but the interior is a surprise - kind of colonial style with half stairs up and down; it's located close to an area with restaurants and pubs (not so close to the old town though) and it's close to the airport, which unfortunately means lots of noise due to the busy air traffic
