We had booked somewhere else, but it was more expensive than Bira's, While waiting to check in, we saw Bira, with its sparkling pool, spotless rooms, excellent bathroom, wonderful veranda, rich and varied à la carte breakfast served right on your terrace, and incredibly hospitable and friendly people. As a bonus, there's a free motorbike. Don't bother looking at the facilities in the front rows of the harbour area on this island. This place is just 50 metres back, and in my opinion, it's the only exceptional option. You won't regret it. Koh Larn is a bright star... We had reservations elsewhere, but that was more expensive than here. As we waited for check-in, we saw the Bira, the sparkling pool, the sparkling clean rooms, the perfect bathroom, the great veranda, the rich and varied à la carte breakfast served all the way to the terrace, and the incredibly welcoming and friendly people. As a bonus, there was a free motorcycle. Do not rely on the facilities in the front row of the port area when searching on this island. 50 meters further back is this hotel, and in my opinion it is the only excellent choice. You won't regret it.

I had a reservation at another hotel and the clerk was away for 2 hours so it's forced to find another hotel. I walked about 50 m and found this. Large cottage king bed very nice big bathroom very modern. Good Wi-Fi and a brand new AC. When there's limited people there they schedule your breakfast so you have to say what time you want it. Kind of like on a cruise ship so I said 8:30 and he was there promptly. Nice enough breakfast very tasty. Extra bonus what was nice. The clerk quoted me the same price that was on Agoda that I saw later. He did not hit me up with an extra charge for walking in, in need.

It was an accidental find of ours, but a very surprisingly pleasant one. We decided to go to Kolan for an overnight stay as we were there twice with the kids and on the same beach. Took a bike, went all over the island and found this hotel just passing by. Of course, with this heat, we were attracted to the pool. The price of 1,900 baht per day was pleasantly surprising. The hotel is clean, you can see it's been renovated recently. Breakfast is modest, but there's something to eat in the morning. No toothbrushes. The location is convenient, close to the pier, in the evening went to the local market.
