Hotel Idyll

Stayed here 2 nights, extremely dark room, no natural light whatsoever. You have your breakfast in Sunbeam Hotel, share Sunbeam Pool and even made me checkout from there. Save yourself money and stay there!! Not v good customer service making me go to another hotel to checkout when the Idyll reception should be manned.

Hotel Idyll is a classic case of boutique concept gone wrong! It is not an independent hotel but a separate wing of the Sunbeam hotel. In the night receptions are shared. It is located in the middle of a nightlife area in Soi 8 and 7 between Beach road and 2nd road. The rooms are small, dark and no windows. There was a table but no table chair. AC was so noisy Its recommended to use ear-plugs. Corridors are small with dim lights. Breakfast, Spa and pool are shared with Sunbeam hotel. We stayed only one night and the staff was kind enough to transfer us to a nicer room in Sunbeam hotel. Not recommended unless you like dark, gloomy, scary , kinky rooms!
