R-con Rest Sea Jomtien Hotel

We booked this hotel like just an hour before start of our cab from bangkok city to pattaya with no proper research. It's an average decent hotel. Keeping in mind the language barrier to put things across to them I will say it's a okay hotel. The hotel has all twin bed facility and for couples they just join the two beds to make it one which will keep parting apart. In the hotel you will get clean bath towels and shower/hand gel you have to carry your own tooth brush and paste n shampoo which is no big deal as there's family mart (super market) within 3 mins walk. They provide you with small water bottle only on day of arrival. Good thing they have coffee maker and mug at least so we can buy our own tea-coffee-condiments n spoon from the mini market as they will strictly say "no have" if u ask for one. The front desk wants to help you it seems with their smile but again language barrier creeps in I think. My husband was little upset but thanks to my great patience level I manage his temper to loose. The location is decent if your looking for a beach nearby again it's not the main pattaya beach but jomtein which is also nice and clean with majorly Russian families visitors. If you care about only Sun bathing, beach, walking street and food then it's a good location stay. But if your looking for pattaya beach or to go to koh larn ferry trip, pattaya walking street, water sports, coral island, Alcazar show, then you need to either book a hotel close to pattaya beach or city coz from here it's little far to commute especially if your new to the place and most importantly have to wake up early morning and get going coz everything closes by 5 pm there except for night life market. The most cost effective mode of commute is the bus which is like small than the normal bus but bigger than the asian tuk tuk maybe it's called a bus as it accommodates 10 seats and like 4 standing hehehe. We got free wifi with decent network strength inside the hotel. The breakfast buffet is upon request for a good price of 150Bht per head. No comments for the hotel food as we didn't opt to eat inside hotel at all as there's lot of choices at walking distance around the hotel.

I booked the family room for myself as I wanted a large space and a sea view . Price B15,000 per month plus electric (B1000 ) and water (B200) It can get noisy in the early morning and evenings when the Chinese tour buses arrive but that wasn't a problem for me. Also I must say the staff here are really good ,helpful and friendly. Ignore the other reviewers saying they are not good its just that they have to put up with the rude Chinese tourists. During the day it's generally very quiet and my room on floor six had a lovely sea view 🤗Nice gym / fitness area too 👍🏻

I have been staying in this hotel for six nights and I was impressed. The hotel has an excellent location for me. Around the hotel has many restaurants. The hotel is near the Jomtien Night Market which you can find local food. The hotel is not crowded. But a little disadvantage was the Chinese tourists was loudy sometimes in the morning. But when they went out,it was quiet. And the hotel has only one lift.My boyfriend and I,we like this hotel very much. The staff was friendly and the price was reasonable.
