Royal Thai Residence

I stayed at Royal Thai from October '15 to May '16. The apartment hotel was very nice and had many amenities, although they didn't have a massage lady when I stayed. The pool was nice and a good size, and I went to the muay thai gym they offered - very authentic! The weight room at the hotel is small, but had dumbbells which are good enough for me. The staff sometimes don't know what I asked, but they were friendly and always worked to help figure it out. Some speak more English than others, but they were all polite and they like to joke, practice your Thai with them! There are places to stay closer in the city, but staying here keeps things a little nicer. You can walk down the street without being hassled to buy sunglasses or ride a jetski. And it's not next to the thriving bar scene, so you can actually sleep at night. Of course, this is Thailand though, and if you want it, you'll never have to look far.

I stayed here for 6 month,this place have a lot of insects,is very dirty very noisy have karaoke very near and you cannot sleep karaoke close 5:00 o'clock.the staffs are very unfriendly.its very far from pattaya.if you no want bad experience no stay in this place.there are many good hotels and most cheap in the center of pattaya,r-con siam in soi buakhao for example very new hotel and very clean and most cheap.

i stayed in royal thai residence from 19 dec till 15 jan 2013 and would advise anybody to stay here.it is cheap and a clean place to stay, the staff are friendly,and there is a lovely swimming pool which is kept spotless clean
