I stayed in a Deluxe King room with balcony for a week. Overview - Location of the hotel is superb being close to 2nd road and the baht bus. Walking distance to many things in the area. It has a small pool, cafe in lobby that serves a basic breakfast & F&B the rest of day, 24 hour reception and bellboy service with friendly English speaking staff. There's a great restaurant and laundry right across. Room - I was on second highest highest floor facing south. Very comfortable, no noise issues and looks to be recently renovated or at least well kept. Safe, cupboard, large TV with many channels. Bathroom was large, big mirror, separate shower stall and hot water. Shortcomings - Overall the place is more than decent. BUT. There's only 1 lift and super slow, takes 60 second minimum (if no one else using). Also had water pressure issues in my bathroom that caused toilet not to flush properly and bidet barely usable. They changed bidet head which helped but you need to flush 3-4 times and say a prayer when you use the toilet. Finally, bed was super hard. Maybe it's personal preference but I had back troubles by day 2 because of this. Overall - Cant complain but I did hehe. If it were bit cheaper or changed beds I'd return, but there are other options in the area.

We had such a lovely stay here, the hotel is just perfect in every way and in a great location, walking distance to the beach and all the busiest areas. A thousand places to eat and drink within a short stroll, very close to shops and malls,it couldn’t be better situated. Lovely helpful, staff stylish modern design, extremely comfortable rooms with fridge,safe, and coffee making and all facilities you need including a 3rd floor pool. Spotlessly clean the room girls do an excellent job. We had a very small issue which was dealt with efficiently and professionaly, thanks to P’yow the manageress who is very kind and helpful. We will definitely return and make this our go to when in Pattaya.

My husband and I first visited the Bay Breeze over 26 years ago. I can’t count how many times we have returned over the years. A few years ago we stayed for three months. The look of the hotel might have changed over the years, but what never changes is the warm welcome and treatment you receive from the Manager, Khun P’yow and her team. Fast forward to October 2023 and the hotel has recently reopened after a major refurbishment. It is 90% complete, though the ongoing daytime works did not disturb us. I don’t know how hotels are rated, but as frequent travellers, we would easily rank the Baybreeze as a 4 star hotel. The public areas and rooms have been upgraded to a very high standard. The coffee shop and and terrace sports bar are very modern and fresh with many large screens. The bedrooms are extremely comfortable with new furniture, beds and bedding. 50 Inch Samsung TVs have been installed with a multitude of channels. A new fast 5g Wi-Fi system has been installed. We are very fussy travellers and over the years, and especially now, have virtually found it impossible to find fault with the Bay Breeze. The staff were always 5 star, but the facilities have now achieved that level too. Very happy to recommend, especially when the delicious buffet breakfast is currently on offer at 179 baht.
