Nora Guesthouse

We were on a multi-day road-trip with 5 people and needed to find a clean and cheap place to stay for the night. We found it at Nora Guesthouse in Chumphon. It ended up to be the cheapest accommodation we stayed in during our 1 month trip. We actually used it several times afterwards coming up and down from Koh Tao. Last time we used it to kill a few hours we had between arrival to Chumphon with Songserm Ferry and our night train departure to Bangkok. Had a shower, go for some food leaving our luggage in the room, use their WiFi, one more shower and off we went. It's very conveniently located close to town, train station and local night market. Safe parking place. The rooms are spacious and clean. The business is ran by a nice and friendly young family. Her name is Toy.

We had a fan room, wich was very large and clean with private bathroom and fan. Friendly staff who can give you all info you need. Close to the train station. Normally very quiet area but we had bad luck with our neighbours who were partying and making noise all night long.....

It was a simple, clean bungalow. Bathroom seemed to be not too clean and the matress was way too hard, but considering the price, for me it was totally fine. But if you want to stay more than two nights, I recommend staying at another place. Staff were really friendly. Def would book again. (Btw, it was a thai-toilet, so no toiletpaper and no flush, but a bucket with water)
