We had a standard room at the Nana Beach Hotel and were really satisfied with it overall. The deciding factor for our booking was the pictures on the booking platform – the room looked very appealing there. Added to that was the price of just under €26 per night, while the rooms are sometimes traded significantly higher depending on the category or period. Our standard room actually matched the pictures quite well. It was furnished in a modern and chic style and was overall in good condition – we would give that about 4 out of 5 points. The bed was fine, the TV was pleasantly large, and overall the room made a well-maintained impression. The bathroom, however, falls significantly short compared to the room. Here, time seems to have stood still back in the 80s. The coarse tiles and the overall look are more reminiscent of a youth hostel or a very old utilitarian building. Although a new sink was installed, the rest of the area has obviously not been renovated yet. In our view, there is definitely still room for improvement here. The hotel complex itself is very beautiful, large, and well-maintained. During our stay, it was surprisingly quiet – there were probably only about five or six hotel guests. You notice that at breakfast, of course. The selection was not huge, but completely sufficient for the small number of guests and of good quality. After all, it would not make sense to set up a huge buffet with so few guests. We cannot judge the condition of the superior rooms, rooms in the main building, or the bungalows. From the outside or from a few glimpses, the bungalows seemed tidy, but the price sometimes asked for them does not necessarily seem proportional to what you get. The beach is very close – you just have to cross the street and you are already there. However, there are numerous warnings on the premises and in the surrounding area about sand fleas, which can apparently be very active and biting there. You should keep that in mind during your stay and especially when visiting the beach. Conclusion: Our standard room was really a good choice for the just under €26 we paid and surprised us in a positive way. The facility is nice and well-maintained, the room itself makes a good impression. However, the bathroom is in clear need of renovation. For our price, we would book the hotel again – at significantly higher prices, however, we would look more closely at which room category you actually get.

We stayed 3 nights at the Nana Beach Resort, in a room located on the upper floor of one of the large buildings. Overall, the room was decent and the bed was quite comfortable. However, we encountered a few minor maintenance issues. In particular, there was a bad smell coming from the bathroom, apparently linked to a problem with a drain seal. I had to put paper around the seal to limit the odors coming up, which actually worked well. We also had a few tiny ants that were coming in through a corner of the bedroom ceiling. Here again, I temporarily blocked the spot with paper to keep them from getting in. I would therefore say that the establishment needs a bit more maintenance on certain details. On the other hand, the outdoor areas are very pleasant, with lots of vegetation and a really nice large pool, especially for swimming. 🌴🏊 Breakfast is served as an all-you-can-eat buffet in a large dining room. We found it hearty, varied, and very good. The staff was also friendly and welcoming throughout the resort. The restaurant is located on the other side of the road, on the beach side. We ate there and found it decent. Overall, a rather pleasant stay despite a few small maintenance issues that deserve to be corrected.

Overall, the atmosphere at Nana Beach was nice, peaceful, and relaxing. The staff on check-in were friendly and welcoming, which gave a good first impression. However, the check-out experience was disappointing as the staff did not seem attentive or interested at all. I stayed in Room No. 7. The restaurant staff provided excellent service—very friendly and attentive, which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, the room itself needs improvement. The bathroom was quite dirty, with stained mirrors and a very unclean shower. The water pressure was also weak and slow. With better attention to cleanliness and service consistency, this place could offer a much better experience.
