We loved our stay at Porntherp Mansion. The room was spacious and clean. The beds were comfy, and the amenities were quite new. The only down side is that it is quite a ways from the city center and the beach. You have to walk a good 30 min to get to the beach, which is not so bad. There are still quite a few eateries around so it's fine for a few days.

The smaller group traveled to Thailand for a month. This hotel was definitely the best choice. Extremely friendly staff, the rooms are spacious, bright, clean and stocked with all the necessary, including daily supplementation with coffee and bottled water. That was the reason for us to continue our stay. We warmly recommend it and definitely come back.

This hotel is not in good condition. Toilet are not much clean and somehow toilet water runs through the walls to the room. Staff is friendly but only one of them speaks english. Staff sometimes are not on the counter.
