Very nice hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. It could use a bit more maintenance. The restaurant is decent. The breakfast is very good.

The last resort in Koh Lanta, it takes a bit to get here from the pier, but it is worth it. The couple who operate this resort are warm and welcoming and made this one of the most memorable stays in several years. The villas are well appointed and comfortable and enjoyed several lazy hours reading on my porch/balcony. The whole vibe of this place is getting off the grid so although there is wifi, no TV or anything on your rooms (a huge plus imo). The breakfast is solid but dinners are fantastic! Enjoyed sunset beers and a top notch Thai meal every night of my stay. And the beach....it's a beautiful, wild, white sand beach where there was never more than 4 or 5 other people on the entire bay the three days I was there. The stars at night were spectacular and the eerie glow of the distant fishing boats was a unique spectacle. This is exactly the remote, relaxing retreat I wanted to conclude my time in Thailand and Lalaanta delivered. I will absolutely be staying with them again- next time with my whole family- when I return!

Patrick and his Staff Family run a unique experience. We have never felt so chilled and relaxed turning up to a new stay. Would recommend booking the Sandcastle Villas and book well in advance. Word of warning...the beds are floor level, the inside of villa is on 3 levels with steps and the water is not always hot but I couldn't recommend this place more highly. Friendly, clean, excellent food and hospitality and the outlook is just paradise. We stayed over Christmas and would have happily stayed for longer.
